Bukittinggi My Home Town!!

Hello minna san ^v^ . . .guess i'll get serious from here, i'd like to introduce you about my Little Sweety Home Town, Bukittinggi. . . .

Bukittinggi is a town located in west sumatra, Indonesia. The town is small yeah... but Bukittinggi is a fresh town for sure!! >v< I don't really know about Bukittinggi by specificly, but at least i can tell you a little bit about my town.

JAM GADANG

First of all . . . if London has Big Bang, then Bukittinggi has "Jam Gadang", yeah. . . that's the big icon of Bukittinggi >w<, but please dont think that Jam Gadang has the same size as Big Bang, cuz Jam Gadang is small small samller than Big Bang ^_^" tehehehehe but still it's one of the nice place that should be visited if you come to my home town.

Jam Gadang was built in 1926 by Yazid Sutan Gigi Ameh. The clock itself was a gift from Queen of Holland to The Controleur. During the Dutch occupation, on top of the roof was a hen. When the Japanese occupied, they changed the hen into the form a shrine. And when Indonesia became independent, people rebuilt the roof top into the form of Minangkabau (West Sumatera) traditional houses (Rumah Gadang).

LUBANG JAPANG

Lubang Japang, or you can call it as Japanese hole, Japanese cave, Japnese Tunnel . . .what ever, kind of that stuff . . . That was built by the Japanese army around the second world war in Bukittinggi, West Sumatera, Indonesia. Listening to the story . . . that place is kind of creepy place, yeah. . . . you know, there were so many people died back then, of course! that time was the second world.

Ehem!! i love Japan, although they ever did torture Indonesian people . . . //too bad :(//

SIANOK CANYON

Ha~~~ such a beatufull canyon, Sianok Canyon is connected to Lubang Japang.One of the most pleasant aspects of Sianok Canyon are the two volcanoes, Merapi and Singgalang, brooding in the distance, which bring us to the subject of mountain climbing. Mount Merapi is still active and is considered dangerous. A well-kept trail leads directly to the volcanoes top.

RENDANG

Hm . . . . nyummi!!! rendang, or we call it as Randang in Minang language is an ORIGINAL FOOD made by minang people. And i heard that rendang is already has been stated as the most delicious food in the world by CNN, oh my!! i'm soproud of Indonesia. Hm . . and also i suggest you to eat that once, it tastes good ^w^

hufttt.... minna san, i got tired typing this posting, i wish i get good mark by posting this, ^^ actually i'm really bad at writing, DAMN!! I'M SO BAD!!!! ok that's all that i can tell you about my home town Bukittinggi . . .
